With more than two decades in global and regional banking, Kelvin has lived the full arc of the compliance and transformation journey, from IT development to audit and consulting, from large-scale platform transformation to AI and data analytics. He has led across institutions such as UBS, Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered, DBS, and Bank of Singapore, holding senior leadership roles for over 15 years in some of the most highly regulated environments in the world.

His work has helped redefine what modern compliance can be. At Bank of Singapore, Kelvin led award-winning GenAI initiatives that transformed Source-of-Wealth reporting from a 10-day manual effort into a one-hour, integrated digital process, unlocking an estimated US$9M to US$15M in economic value. These breakthroughs were not built for headlines, but for durability: solutions that strengthened risk management, elevated relationship managers, and embedded compliance seamlessly into business workflows.

But Kelvin’s story isn’t just one of success. He has been retrenched twice. He has tried startups, lectured part-time, volunteered as a career advisor, and navigated leadership while raising an autistic son.
